The leader in gas utilization and regulation technology, resulting in a major increase in Saiga 12 reliability and longevity, freedom of ammo choice, and convenience. It’s an amalgamation of efficiency and automatic setting free regulation of the Saiga 12 Gas system.
The Auto plug takes the place of the factory Gas Adjustment Plug. It eliminates the need to manually change settings by automatically regulating the operations gas utilization. It maximizes the efficiency of the Saiga 12 Gas system. It helps under gassed guns cycle reliably and also regulates and releases excess gas pressure from High Brass and self defense ammo harmlessly into ambient pressure zone
Please read the instructions fully to prevent damage or Injury to property or yourself.
Warning: While Installing the Auto Plug please ensure your weapon is safety locked and completely unloaded. Loading live ammo or firing this weapon during installation can cause serious injury or death.
Your safety is our first concern!

TAC-47 RECOMMENDS SHOOTING AMMO WITH A MAXIMUM 2 ¾” IN LENGTH 3” INCH MAG MAY CAUSE PREMATURE WEAR ON THE AUTOPLUG OR ON YOUR FIREARMS OPERATING SYSTEM.
TAC-47’s AUTO PLUG IS NOT A SOLVE ALL, IF YOUR GUN WILL NOT PROPERLY CYCLE AMMUNITION PRIOR TO INSTALATION OF THE AUTOPLUG, THEN IT SHOULD BE SERVICED BEFORE USE OF OUR PRODUCT. OUR PRODUCT UTILIZES THE S12 GAS SYSTEM WITH AN IMPROVED EFFICINCEY AND REGULATES THE PRESSURE BETWEEN HIGH AND LOW BRASS. OUR PLUG ALSO IMPROVES RELIABLITY AND RANGE OF AMMO THAT YOUR GUN CAN CYCLE WITH SETTING FREE AUTOMATION. “IT DOES NOT MEAN YOUR GUN CAN CYCLE ANY AMMO MADE OR THAT IF YOU GUN COULD NOT CYCLE LOWBRASS PREVIOUSLY IT WILL AUTOMATICLY CYCLE LOW BRASS” IN SOME CASES GUNS WILL NEED GAS SYSTEM SERVICE TO PROPERLY FUNCTION WITH OR WITH OUT A PLUG.
WARNING: THIS WEAPON COULD CHAMBER A ROUND IF DROPPED WITH A LOADED MAGAZINE.

INSTALLATION:
Before Installation insure gun is unloaded.
Check to see that the threads in the gas block are clean, as the factory plugs are on the small side of the thread pitch diameter, and carbon will build up in them. Also, there is a groove in the gas block bore where the threads end. This groove will fill up with carbon also. The diameter of the Auto Plug is larger than the factory plug, and it will not go through this carbon ring. It must be scraped out first.
1. Locate the gas plug. If you follow the top of your barrel it will be located in the half way down the barrel in the end of the gas block.
2. Depress detent and with your tool loosen (that’s counter-clockwise) and Now remove the old plug and remove the AUTOPLUG from package. AUTOPLUG is ready for install directly from package.
3. Thoroughly clean the threads in the gas block, along with some CLP on both sets of threads. 4. Now carefully guide the plug into the hole. Try not to ram it in or bang it on anything because this can screw up gas block threads and or damage the plug. With it sitting in the hole, begin to screw the new plug in by hand. Starting them off by hand instead of using the wrench will keep you from accidentally cross-threading the plug. Screw it in by hand if it stops before bottoming out unscrew and inspect threads, clean and retighten continue step
4 until plug is properly seated with detent. The metal in the gas block is soft and can be damaged by over tightening on a snag. If you are pulling hard enough to make a sound come out of your mouth, like a grunt, you’re overdoing it.
5. You should now have your plug installed correctly give it a final safety look over making sure it is bottomed out in the factory detent location and free from any angle of distortion. Proceed to your nearest firering range and have fun. Thank you for choosing Tac-47 Industries a leader of Saiga innovation.
TUNEING Your Plug: Tuning of the TAC 47 Plug should not be necessary however if you can adjust the initial pressure of the AUTOPLUG by turning the retaining screw in 1/4 to 3/8 Creating more tension on the valve as a starting point. The AUTOPLUG is set at the AUTOMATIC Nominal setting for most Saiga 12s.
